| HE'S HERE |
One thing you hear a lot these days Is, "Tell me where God was?" How could He let this happen? Is He blind to what man does?" Anyone who'd ask that question Is not familiar with His Word, They may have listened many times But they never really heard... Should God be a magician Doing tricks to please the crowd? Or use a golden megaphone So His teachings ring out loud? He has tried a thousand ways To reach us through the years Disaster strikes and it's His fault That so many refuse to hear? Somehow I don't think so They had a chance but let it slide God knocks and asks each one of us To let Him be our Guide And those who take His offer Have no need to question why... They have placed their Faith in Him And they aren't afraid to die! And as for those who turned away? Now they're all scared to death... Can't say I blame them....I'd be too If I'd told God to save His breath!! Whatever were they thinking? That they could do it all alone? Now without God's love and mercy Their completely on their own! And these silly, foolish people Who have somehow found the nerve To ask out loud, "Well, where was God?" Will get the answer they deserve... God is where He's always been With those whose faith is strong So there's no need to search for Him... He's been here all along!! Dusty Richardson c 2001 |
