| Like most of the other pages, nooks, boxes & crannies here on the Porch, this Chapel came about because of readers' requests! Between the thought for the day prayer needs, the Weekend Prayer Box, needs mentioned in the Chat Box and my personal email....folks couldn't keep track of them all! It appears that hundreds of the "regulars" here on the porch are also dedicated "PRAYER WARRIORS" "who never give up on a prayer request once received! GOD BLESS "EM EVERY ONE!! So now, all they have to do is cruise on over to this CORNER of the porch to find a running list of requests, old & new, including updates when I receive them! I'm sure some will be by several times a day & it wouldn't surprise me if Jesus Himself stopped in from time to time.....after all He DID tell us : "Whatever you ask of the Father in My name, you will receive, so that the Father may receive glory through the Son...." So, take it from one who knows... NOTHING is impossible with God....on the Porch or anywhere else! Love, Dusty |

| Melissa needs your prayers.....she's experiencing a very high-risk pregnancy !! Thanks all! Here's an update from Martha on Melissa: Just an update on my friend Melissa and her baby. She's currently at Northside and has been there since Friday. They've been monitoring her and the little girl constantly. They've done at least one steroid injection, which apparently hurt quite a bit. The good news is that the baby is being active and the anemia levels have been stable. Melissa's ammonia levels were elevated, a problem she's fought with throughout the pregnancy, but have gone back to normal. She and her husband, Steve, have talked to the NICU doctors and feel a lot better about what the issues are and what they would be facing if the baby is delivered early. They have a much greater sense of peace, and the doctors have given a very positive outlook. Right now, the doctors are unable to get to Melissa because of the weather. She's stuck in the hospital until her high-risk OB/GYN can get to her and examine her, and then determine the best course of action. But the numbers are holding steady and/or improving, so this is very encouraging. She's about 33.5 weeks along now. She wanted to pass along thanks for all those praying for her, and would appreciate continued prayers. Thanks a bunch for keeping her in your prayers! You girls are awesome!! |

| Prayers needed for my friend Deb and her son Daniel who just had major surgery...Healing for him and peace for the family!! Thanks!! Please pray for my friend Mac and her dog Puff!! Puff's going thru some awful medical stuff right now and they are so close that both of them are in some terrible pain!!! I know how I'd feel if it was Sugar!! Thanks all!! | This was a post on 91.9 New Life's prayer page.....had to share!! No such thing as TOO many prayers!! Dusty My 5 month old, granddaughter Lucy was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis. The bones in her skull have prematurely fused. She has to have a very difficult surgery performed in the next couple of weeks. Please pray for her and her parents. Her Dad lost his job just one week before she was born and is still looking for employment. Thank you in advance for your prayers. |
