| SALVATION PRAYER Almighty Father, I know and acknowledge that I am a sinner. I repent, right now, of all my sins, and ask You to forgive me!! You said in Your Word, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). And so I am calling on the name of Your Son, Jesus, to come into my heart and be my Savior. You also said, "If you confess with your mouth that 'JESUS IS LORD' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). I believe with all my heart that Jesus died for MY sins and was raised from the dead so that I may have eternal life!!! I confess Him right now, as my Lord, in the name of Jesus, Amen. |
| I recommend the New International Version or NIV. It's the Bible in plain English, without all the "thees" & "thous"...very easy to understand! And once you have it? USE IT...not as a prop or a paperweight but as a roadmap to get you closer to God and thru this mine field we call LIFE!! It's relevant, powerful and VERY important! I recommend starting with the book of John (New Testament ) He was Jesus' best friend and once he gets cranked? He goes on and on and on.... |

God created this wonderful world of ours and everything in it. Especially us, you & me ...mankind! He wanted us to love, honor, worship and live in harmony with Him forever. Then Sin ( a.k.a. Satan ) entered the picture. He tempted Eve, she bit the apple, got Adam to try it and WHAM !!!! The one thing, the ONLY thing the Lord told them NOT to do and they did it! They also pretty much BLEW it for the rest of us. Because of their sin, man was separated from God. Not a nice thing to be ...AT ALL. Things went downhill after that...fast!! Sin separates us from God. God wasn't happy and neither were we!! Some people tried to find their way back to Him but it wouldn't work because.....the wages of sin is death. Besides, most folks were just plain stubborn !! ( see the Bible for ISRAELITES if you need an example of hard-headed!! LOL!!) and seemed to be trying their darndest to push God out of their lives & hearts, ignore Him, deny Him, you-name-it !! Come to think of it? The Israelites were stubborn, but modern man can hold his own when it comes to trying to keep God away from society!! Just look at the last 50 or so years to find an extensive list of places He used to be welcome that we've kicked Him out of!! Sad.... But in spite of all that? God still loves us. So much in fact , that He did something remarkable! He sent His only Son down here to die for us!! Jesus lived for 30 years as a carpenter's Son, then began a 3 year ministry that turned the world upside down! No one else in all of history ever has, or ever will make such an impact!! It's hard to get your mind around being loved SO much by Someone that they would suffer through what Jesus did, rather than lose you! He's already paid the price for your salvation!! All you have to do is accept it AND Him as Lord of your Life, then scroll down & pray the prayer ....if you do it with an open mind and a repenting heart, believe me when I tell you that He will literally take it from there....but do brace yourself....you're in for a heckuva ride!!! And congratulations!!!! After all, you may only spend a few minutes on this page...but if you're sincere? Your life will never be the same!! Remember, if eternity is a mansion.... then life here on earth is only the FRONT PORCH!! Ha !! You can't live your life straddling the fence....so pick a side & don't put it off!! He who seeks God at the 11th hour? Sometimes dies at 10:30 !!! and forever is a L-O-N-G time to be wrong!! |
