THE DREAMS...This is one of those stories that just
popped into my email, origin unknown!!  But, as usual, I knew when I read it that

I wish to be just what I am
A tree yes…but something more
I’ll grow to be the tallest tree
Ever seen on the forest floor!

I want to tower over all the rest
To be seen both far and wide
I’ll be both a landmark and a beacon
One even Nature cannot hide!”

Woodcutters entered the forest glen
The trees were selected, taken down
The timber cut, stacked up and then
