Life is very stressful There isn't any doubt Sometimes problems multiply Till you feel there's no way out Blocked at every corner Your pace slows to a crawl You surmount one obstacle And three more cause a fall! Between a rock and hard place Is where you always seem to be No matter what you do, it's wrong That's life's iron-clad guarantee Raise your children, slave away Regretting what you haven't got The future's bleak and seems to be One gigantic, tangled knot! For though you strive and struggle To always do your best It's never, ever good enough You're failing every test! Would you like a solution A magic wand to wipe away Every nagging fear and worry At the end of every day? Would you like to fall asleep Without a solitary care Able to pretend your problems Had all vanished in thin air? Knowing deep inside your heart That things would all work out In the long run for the best Without a single doubt? You can have the peace of mind You think you can't afford Tonight at bedtime just surrender Your problems to the Lord!! He knows about them anyway And as long as you've done your best? You can lay them all aside Trusting Him to do the rest! Take Him as your partner You simply can't go wrong As long as He's your Navigator And your belief in Him is strong The Bible says He'll never send More than we can bear....
