TRIBUTE ! You rise each day before the sun To help us win this race we run You wake us up --- you help us cope You remind us of our Greatest hope! Because of you? We see God’s face All morning long, we feel His grace! By using laughter, love and songs You lift us up when things go wrong In hectic kitchens or crowded cars At work or online? There you are! Reaching out to share the love Sent by the Father from above With prayers & stories, jokes & tears Like two old friends we’ve known for years You keep our focus where it should be On the One who Died for you and me ! Through you we feel Christ touch our lives We’re fathers, sisters, sons and wives And throughout each crazy stress-filled day You both here helping us find our way! And we want you to know when the chaos clears How much you mean to us all out here! We’re never without a reason to smile With you & Jesus ---as close as our radio dial !! He promised to help…we know His word’s true! For we needed encouragement? And He gave us YOU! He showers such grace on His children below And in Charlotte? It’s the Eric & Erica Show !! we love you guys !!!!! |
| I have a regular spot on Eric & Erica's Morning Show on 91.9.....and I received literally hundreds of emails from Porch fans and Morning Show listeners asking me to write a poetic tribute to the two DJs who mean so much to all of us!! I had every intention of reading it on one of my spots but that wasn't allowed???? So I'm posting it here on their own Porch Page so it can be read & enjoyed by all their listeners !! A truer rhyme was never written than this one!! 91.9 New Life along with Eric * Erica were my reason for getting out of bed last year when I was going thru a REALLY hard divorce my life was falling apart!!
