Do you lay awake and worry About what is yet to be? Are you full of doubts and questions About a future you can't see? Are worst case scenarios Always flashing through your mind? Unsure what tomorrow holds Afraid you'll end up in a bind? Do you second-guess yourself Preparing for the worst? When you analyze your emotions Is anxiety always first? If all this describes your mindset Then you have to know it's wrong!! Self-inflicted stress just guarantees That "self" won't last too long! I'm also guessing.... if this is you A Christian you are not... For those who place their trust in Christ? Seldom feel so "on-the-spot"!! They have their share of problems, too From the small to very large... But they also always rest assured That Almighty God's in charge!! They believe in every promise Jesus made while here on earth... Before He died to save us all Proving what He thought we're worth! They know that this life, here and now Is only one part of the story... So everything they are and say and do Is geared to give Him glory! For if we do our very best And place our trust in Him alone? There is simply nothing left to fear For God protects His own! With enough guidance, grace and blessings To help us master every task Love, forgiveness, peace of mind All we have to do is ASK!! ASK for His help....TRUST in His will BELIEVE in what He's done!! For no one on earth will reach the Father Unless they first turn to the SON!! So why live life feeling overwhelmed By things you can't control? Kneel today and ask the Savior To take charge of heart and soul! He suffered so much for your sake The nails...the thorns...the CROSS! And He's waited patiently all this time For you to realize what it cost! To hear you say "Jesus, Thank-you!"
