| WHO ELSE? |
What exactly would you call A love as pure as snow Strong enough to cause its Owner To die for those He did not know? A slow and lingering painful death To save sinners one and all? That laid a pathway to Salvation Across every earthly wall? What name would you give Someone Who had dined at God's own table But let Himself be born a Babe In a cold and tiny stable? What adjectives are adequate To describe the life He led? Sermons preached and lessons taught Sick healed and thousands fed! No, words by themselves cannot Tell the story of this Man... Who lived and suffered, died and rose And now sits at God's right Hand Your ears can hear of what He did Your eyes can see the light Your hands can join in fervent prayer Your mind can comprehend His might But none of that will be enough Unless your heart invites Him in; For to truly follow Jesus You must have His love within! It will guarantee your salvation And you'll know what to say, When they ask, "What is He to you?" A HERO....make Him yours today!! Dusty Richardson c 2001 |
